The town of Roedtan in Limpopo is flooded for the first time in 43 years, after heavy rains on New Year’s day.
The town received between 70 and 102 mm of rain.
Some areas were flooded even before Christmas Day, on Maralong road between Tuinplaas and Roedtan weightbrige.
N14 to Vryburg (North West)
Motorists travelling on the N14 from Delareyvile to Vryburg are alerted by authorities in the North West (Department of Community Safety and Transport Management Traffic officers) to a section of the road that is flooded.
