A huge smoke is billowing out of the South African Breweries (SAB) at the Baragwanath Depot.
The City of Joburg Emergency services (EMS) has acknowledged the fire and said its teams are currently onsite.
EMS also said a blaze lept from a nearby field, that was on fire.
Quickly the blaze leached onto the brewery’s premises, and crates.
No casualties were reported, except for damage to infrastructure.
