The Weather Service (SAWS) warned against damaging winds and waves (at Level 2) along the coast, between Port Edward and Richards Bay.
These conditions could make it difficult to navigate at sea.
Damaging interior winds are expected over the Namakwa District in the Northern Cape and the central Karoo District municipality in the Western Cape.
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the western parts of Northern Cape, north-eastern parts of Western Cape and the western parts of Eastern Cape.
