Road users can expect possible delays from Coega Harbour to Makhanda, using the N2 sections 12 and 13 routes, to a farm on the R350 Bedford road.
This is due to 4 trucks transporting abnormal loads of wind turbine components.
The Department of Transport in the Eastern Cape, said these trucks will be travelling at reduced speeds, on Wednesday, 15 July 2026 from 07:00am.
They are escorted by both Provincial Traffic and Vanguard private escorts.
Unathi Binqose, Spokesperson of the Department of Transport, asked motorists to exercise patience and caution when approaching these vehicles.
“Maintain a safe following distance and avoid overtaking and follow the instructions of escort vehicles.”
