Two people were arrested for the possession of and dealing in, suspected stolen copper cables in Pretoria West, on Monday.
They were found by Tshwane Metro Police’s Cable Theft Unit while inspecting Dhatoo Scrap Metals.
Both suspects -a South African and a Cameroonian national, are in their mid‑40s.
When questioned, they were unable to account for the cables they had in bags.
They were immediately arrested and detained at a nearby police station.
