The City of Tshwane announced it has postponed the upgrade of the 132kv pyramid substation, to next Sunday, the 17 August 2025, instead of the 10th August.
Work entails the connection of post insulators and busbars, from 08am until 6pm.
Areas supplied by the Pyramid, Pumulani, Waltloo and Koedospoort substations will be affected, including Pumulani Toll gate, Doornpoort Toll gate, Montana Park, Tuine and Estate, Zambezi Country Estate, Doornpoort Extension, Sinoville extensions, Kolonnade Mall and Retail Park, all Powerline areas, N4 Gateway, Waltloo Industrial, Ford and Samancor, Eesterust, Balley Village, Nellmapius extensions 1,2 and 4, Donkerhoek, Silverton ext 5, Willow Park Manor, Samcor Industrial, Silverton, Eastlyn, Waverly, Silvertondale, Lindopark, Eastlyn, Waterworks Treatment Plant, Pyramid Clinic, Rooiwal town, Vasfontein area and Grootfontein.
Areas from Pretoria North, Wonderboom and Wilmer substation, will also be affected.
