The City of Tshwane said it will be taking legal action against a private helicopter, using its helipad.
Kholofelo Morodi, MMMC for Corporate Services said in a statement, the unauthorized helipad, is next to a school and is within a wetland.
The City said no official authorization was granted for neither the construction nor the use of the helipad.
“The discovery raises critical questions regarding the use of Municipal land…. The City takes this matter seriously and has already initiated an investigation” said Morodi.
