Residents of Nooitgedagt and Motherwell are breathing a sigh of relief, at the news of restored power in Friday afternoon, at the local Wastewater Treatment Works.
The bulk transfer system can now be reactivated and refilled.
The Municipality said supply will remain strained for the next 24 hours.
Affected areas are Rowallan park, Hunters Retreat, Kabega, Parsons ridge,Parsonsvlei, Francis Evatt Park ,Morningside, Baywest, Sherwood, Lorraine, Westering, Malabar, Barcelona, High lying areas of gelvandale, Framesby, Sunridge park, Linton Grange, Cotswold, Fernglen,Summerstrand, NMU, parts of Humewood and Marine Drive.
