The Women in Science Seminar is well underway, at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre.
The seminar aims to celebrate the immense contribution of women in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
Organisers of the event at the eThekwini Municipality, have also invited female learners from Grades 9 to 11, from the uMlazi and Pinetown districts.
Guests expected to address the seminar are Zandile Myeni; Gugu Ngubane, both from the Municipality, Krystle Nageshar, representing the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE); and Angel Ndlela, entrepreneur and founder of Angel Ndlela Group, also known from the Real Housewives of Durban reality show.
