There is a new sewerage spill at the Kings Beach and surrounding areas.
The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality confirmed this subsequent to heavy rainfall over the weekend.
The City said the spill occurred despite its ongoing flow control measures.
The affected area is being cleaned by a newly appointed contractor and treatment (dosing) to reduce E. coli levels, is well underway.
Work is expected to last for another 2–3 weeks.
