A young rhino calf was found alone, severely emaciated, and barely moving, by rangers, in the Greater Kruger National Park.
Dr Ben Muller said teams were immediately deployed to assess the situation and try to save her.
“Upon arrival, they found her in extremely poor condition.”
She was loaded onto an orphan rescue transport crate, given an emergency first aid to stabilise her.
The team at the Care for Wild Sanctuary, said she arrived safely.
“We’re deeply grateful to the team in Greater Kruger and Dr. Ben Muller for their dedication to saving this little life.”
