Hiking trails on Cape Nature land are closed temporarily, as cold weather sweeps through paths country, tagging rain along.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) also said about 25mm of rainfall, is expected on the western parts of the Western Cape, and up to 50mm up on the mountains.

Cape Nature said as a result, from Friday, the  6–9 June 2025, Hottentots Holland Nature Reserve would be closed temporarily.
As from Saturday, the 7–9 June 2025,  Limietberg, Jonkershoek, Assegaaibosch, Geelkrans, and Kogelberg Nature Reserves, will be closed.
