Five people were found dead, after a fire broke out at a residential building -Quality Springs, Doornfontein, on Saturday evening.
It is a three storey building.
Speaking on behalf of Emergency services (EMS), Kagiso Phaasha, said firefighters found the building in flames.
The incident happened around 11 pm.
Although the fire was contained, Paasha said the cause of the fire is under investigation by the police.
