Limpopo
Thembi Simelane, the Minister of Human Settlements, visited Mbaula, in Giyani, along with Basikopo Makamu, COGHSTA MEC in Limpopo.
Over 30 houses were affected by recent floods in Mbaula alone.
An 84 -year old, koko Mashigo, is among those displaced by recent floods due to recent floods.
Her home is in Majeje Village.
Authorities offered her relief in the form of food parcels and assured her that she will soon be relocated to a safer and dignified shelter.

Mpumalanga
A total of 20 people died in floods in Mpumalanga, since December last year.
About 1,808 houses and 81 schools were damaged by floods.
Speed Mashilo, Cooperative Governance (Coghsta) MEC, said the floods are as a result of climate change.
Both Simelane and Mashilo went to visit affected areas in Bushbuckridge.
About 350 houses were affected by recent floods there.
The Province is affording humanitarian relief items, fixing some roads as well as temporary bridges.
