Firefighters are battling another blaze in La Motte, in Franschhoek.
The Cape Winelands District Municipality (CWDM) said on Saturday afternoon, the fire is threatening multiple structures.
Aerial resources from partners – Provincial Disaster Management Centre, the Winelands Fire Protection Association (FPA) as well as contracted aerial resources, are on site.
Firefighting resources came from the CWDM and Stellenbosch Municipality as well as contracted ground teams and Volunteer Wildfire Services (VWS).
Motorists are urged to drive carefully around the affected area, as well as to follow the instructions of traffic officials.
The weather service (SAWS) has forecast between 2-7mm of rain for Franschhoek on Saturday evening.
