Transnet met up with representatives from the Embassy of Belgium and the Government of Flanders, last Friday, to explore a partnership with the two countries.

The next meeting, is expected to start with the development of annual monitoring plans, coordinate working groups and track progress.

The three are collaborating in port operations, digitalisation, sustainability, infrastructure planning and corridor development to enhance South Africa’s logistics performance.

Transnet’s delegation included Advocate Michelle Phillips, Transnet’s Chief Executive Officer, Solly Letsoalo, the Group Chief Operating Officer and Tumi Matsheka and the Group Chief People Management and Learning Officer.
