The Mopani Municipality has resorted to adding three boreholes to improve water supply, in Greater Tzaneen and Greater Letaba.

A newly drilled borehole, and a mini-reticulation network and water storage facilities, are expected to supply 94 households in the Burgersdorp Village in Greater Tzaneen.

Another, in Gavaza Village, part of Greater Tzaneen, will benefit 110 households.

The Rajeke Village in Greater Letaba will also be supplied from a refurbished borehole- H07-1649.

Lucky Mohlala, MMC for Governance, and Pule Shayi, who represented the Executive Mayor, had a handover ceremony on Friday.

Shayi said the intervention is part of the Municipality’s ongoing “Hi N’wa Mati”or “we drink water” and Operation Fix All programme.
