Another earthquake struck South America, on Thursday.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) confirmed its epicenter was some 38 kilometers, northwest of Upahuacho, in Peru.

It had a magnitude of 6.7 and occurred at 1 p.m. local time.

There were no casualties or damages reported as yet.
