Learning Together Creche in Waterloo, Durban, caught fire on Thursday, following a faulty electrical connection.
Security company- Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) and the eThekwini Fire and Rescue evacuated ten children to safety.
Firefighters extinguishing the blaze and no injuries were reported.

The R75 from Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) towards Despatch just after Kwadwesi, is currently closed, following a truck on fire.
Motorists are urged to use alternative roads.
It is unclear whether the truck caught fire or was set alight by protesters.
Mooiplaas fire
A fire broke out in a bush in Mooiplaas.
The Letaba Fire Association (FPA) said it appears as if peanut growers might have started the fire.
Just after midday (12:04), Letaba FPA fire teams were dispatched.
They moved through thick bush on foot with knapsacks and beaters to the fire, until the fire was extinguished after 13:30.
