South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned against severe thunderstorms, over the southern parts of the Mpumalanga Lowveld.
As a result, heavy downpours might lead to localized flooding of susceptible areas, roads and bridges.
In addition, strong gusty winds are expected to accompany the rain.
Meteorologists have warned of another cut off low, over the southern parts of SA from Tuesday into Wednesday.
This system is expected in parts of central and south-eastern SA on Monday.
The upper air trough might intensify into an upper air Cut-Off Low Pressure System (COL), which may lead to severe weather, in parts of the Eastern Cape and KZN, on Wednesday.
