Bodies of a man and woman were pulled out of the Crocodile River by police divers, on Sunday.
Police said they received a call about a white vehicle that had plunged into the Crocodile River at about 4am.
The vehicle was coming from the University of Mpumalanga and KaMagugu intersection.
The SAPS Search and Rescue team arrived at the scene and managed to locate the vehicle with two bodies trapped inside.
