The Dyer Conservation Trust has shared pictures of wildlife killed on roads around the country.
Animals found are tortoises, birds, snakes and other small animals.
The Trust did this, to send a stern message to motorists to “slow down, give wildlife a chance.”
The Trust took to social media to say “it is heartbreaking to see so many. We cannot prevent every accident, but we can make a difference. Please slow down, stay alert and watch for wildlife crossing, especially on rural roads. Every life matters, no matter how small.”
