A burst pipe at the corner of Rifle Range Road and Limerick Road, will force the Crown Gardens reservoir to close on Sunday for repairs, from 8am until 6pm.
Affected areas are Crown Gardens, Robertsham, Ridgeway, Ormonde, Winchester, Booysens, Thetha, Orphiton and West Turffontein.
Moreover, some water supply systems may still be affected by a power outage incident at the Zuikerbosch Water Treatment Plant, even after restoration on Friday.
Johannesburg Water (JW) warned against temporary water interruptions due to declining water levels at reservoirs.
Affected reservoirs are South Hills Tower, Alexander Park, Linksfield, Marlboro, Linbro Park, Morningside, Bryanston, Illovo, President Park, Grand Central, Erand, Rabie Ridge, Diepsloot and Randjesfontein.
JW said teams would monitor and continue to implement interventions.
