Mass evacuations are underway in Nepal, following a flash flood, which occurred on Sunday.
As a result, eighteen homes, were swept away when a breached landslide dam, along central Nepal’s Budhi Gandaki river, gushed downstream.
Bridges were affected, as well as a hydropower plant under construction.
The army in that country is evacuating people, but five were reported missing.
There is also damage to power and communication lines.
Affected settlements are Jagat, Salleri, Dovan, Ghattekhola, and Arughat.
