Disruptive snow at Level 6 is expected from Sunday into Tuesday, over Dr Beyers Naude, Chris Hani, Senqu, Elundini and Matatiele Local Municipalities.
The weather service (SAWS) said there would be similar yet lesser conditions (at Level 2), over Koukamma, Kouga, Blue Crane, Raymond Mhlaba, Amahlathi, Intsika Yethu, Dr AB Xuma, Mhlontlo, and Mzimvubu Local Municipalities.
The SAWS also warned against damaging winds over the central parts of the Northern Cape, on Saturday.
As a result, extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the eastern parts of Northern Cape as well as the northwestern parts of the Eastern Cape.
