Emergency Services in Johannesburg, received two new fire engines.

The engines have modern, cutting-edge technology, designed to enhance firefighting efficiency and improve safety for both firefighters and communities.

Nana Radebe Kgiba, Spokesperson of EMS, said this is a significant step forward, in addressing the City’s shortage of operational firefighting vehicles.

“These newly acquired vehicles form part of the City’s broader strategy to strengthen emergency response capacity across Johannesburg. This delivery is the first phase of a total of sixteen fire engines that the City is in the process of procuring. The rollout of the full fleet will take place in stages, with additional units expected in the coming months” said Kgiba.
