A Flood Watch was activated for northern and central Queensland, as well as the eastern Northern Territory.
Heavy falls received on Saturday, were about 199mm, at Wallaman Escarmen, north-east of Queensland, in just 24 hours.
The Bureau of Meteorology said other areas measured were Abergowrie (184mm), Halifax (183mm), Macknade Sugar Mill (160mm) and Gairloch (134mm).
Flood Warnings remain current for the Flinders and Western Rivers, Norman River, as well as multiple rivers across Queensland.
