The funeral of Dikeledi Magadzi, former Limpopo MEC and Deputy Minister, is underway at the Jack Botes Hall, in Limpopo.
Magadzi died at 75, on the 28th December 2025, after falling ill.
She served as Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation, from 05 August until the 06th March 2023, and was also Deputy Minister of Transport.
Dr Phophi Ramathuba, Premier of Limpopo, said “her invaluable contributions to the liberation of South Africa and her nearly two decades of dedicated service in executive roles within Limpopo, reflect her unwavering commitment to our province and nation.”
She also said Magadzi was instrumental in nurturing countless women and men into responsible leaders and ensuring that their contributions were always recognised.
