Hammanskraal residents can now drink water from the Klipdrift Water Treatment Plant.
The City of Tshwane announced on Wednesday, the 08th January 2025.
This follows water quality concerns over the water, after the completion of the project.
The City said results of tests conducted in partnership with Magalies Water, show water is now safe to drink.
About 12,5 megaliters per day of water from the plant will be supplied to Mandela Village, Marokolong, Ramotse, Kekana Gardens and Babelegi Industrial.
The Magalies Water Klipdrift Package has four phases, expected to be completed by mid 2025.
