Data collected by Swiss air quality technology company IQ Air, showed the City of Jakarta registered an air quality index score of 157. This secures the City first place, as the world’s most polluted country in the world.
Jakarta has a population of some 10 million people, reportedly has air quality index of about 159 for West Java.
According to a report by South China morning post, air pollution is estimated to contribute to 7 million premature deaths every year and is considered by the United Nations to be the single biggest environmental health risk in that country.

Lahore in Pakistan, Hotan in China and Bhiwadi and Delhi in India.
