The National Directorate of water in Mozambique said water levels of a reservoir behind the Cahora Bassa dam in Mozambique’s Tete province, is at its lowest in 3 decades, below 25%.
According to the Norwegian Refugee Council, about 3 million people were affected by the cyclone Chido.
