A storm in Namibia since Thursday, caused extensive damage in various parts of the country, including Okahandja and Okatjeru.
These areas received about 100 mm of rainfall.
Houses were partially submerged while hail damaged windows.
AgriForum Namibia shared pictures of submerged grain fields in Koës.
Okatjeru also received heavy rains and hailstorm overnight.
The country’s Emergency City services confirmed damage to 20 formal houses and 10 backyard dwellings.
Some temporary road closures are also underway, including the C36 route between Uis and Omaruru.
