A transformer exploded in Nkowankowa, on Monday, causing a widespread water supply interruption.
The Mopani District Municipality said in addition, there is also a burst pipe.
Technical teams from the Municipality and Eskom are on site, but the time of restoration was not provided.
The Municipality also said there is another burst pipe, which has affected the residents of Magoboya Village.
Work to restore supply there, can only occur once spare parts are delivered.
