The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality confirmed on Wednesday, that the Chelsea Reservoir is at 8%, the KwaNobuhle Incoming Reservoir at 1%, Gelvandale Reservoir at 7%, the Airport Reservoir at 9%, Emerald Reservoir at 6%, Heatherbank Reservoir at 3% and the McNaughton Reservoir at 3%.
The Municipality said while teams continue to closely monitor the system, residents should continue using water sparingly.
Affected areas are Baywest, Rowallan Park, Sherwood, Parts of Lorraine, Hunters Retreat, Kabega Park, Morningside, Malabar, Barcelona, Parsonsvlei, Parsons Ridge, parts of Schauderville, Parts of Helenvale, lower Gelvandale, Walmer Heights, Greenshields Park, Walmer (7th Avenue to 14th Avenue), Walmer Location, Newton Park, High-lying areas of Central, Mangold Park, Overbaakens, Charlo, Fairview, Broadwood and Springfield.
