The Green Connection celebrated its 25th year in operation, at the Vineyard Hotel, in Cape Town, on Saturday.
The organisation was first established in South Africa in 2000, and registered as a Non-Profit, in 2010, and has ever since, launched grassroots actions to landmark legal wins and multiple campaigns, in favour of the environment and people.
A webinar was organised titled “strengthening community resilience amidst the Just Energy Transition” and milestones shared, along with pressing debates.
Three reports exploring offshore renewable energy, transport and the just energy transition, were discussed at length.
