Although systems are reportedly stable, with normal supply, in the Commando, Randburg, Central, Soweto, Deep South, Midrand and Sandton, daily throttling goes ahead on Saturday evening.
Johannesburg Water (JW) said in a notice to customers, reservoirs and towers subjected to throttling, may have restricted water from 50% to 100%, from Saturday, the 19th April at 6pm until 5am, on Sunday.
Affected areas are Orange Farm, Lawley, Lenasia high level and Lenasia hospital hill, President Park outlet, Diepsloot and Illovo.
Reservoirs and towers up for rotational throttling on Saturday, are Boschkop, Randpark ridge, Fleurhof, Olivedale, Robertville, Alexander Park, Diepkloof, Orlando, Powerpark, Brixton, Hursthill, Doornkop, Hector Norris pump station, Crown Gardens, Yeoville, Horizon, Jim Fouche, Grand Central and Randjiesfontein.
