Nigeria’s UNICEM Hospital building in Calabar, Cross River State, collapsed on Thursday, following heavy rains.

This is after a landslide washed away the hospital’s foundations.

Widespread flooding was reported at Wuse 2, Katampe, Mabushi, Lugbe, Nyanya, Gwarimpa, Asokoro, Maitama, and Utako.

No deaths or casualties reported or confirmed because eyewitnesses say there were warning signs of shifting ground days before the collapse.

Patience were evacuated on time.
