A video of a rhino charging against a bakkie, went viral over the weekend.
The Department of Forestry and tourism in Namibia, confirmed the incident occurred on Saturday, at the Etosha National Park.
The Park is home to the world’s largest population of black rhinos.
Last week, Naambo Iipinge, Etosha’s Deputy Director, confirmed there was a small and manageable fire in the Park last week, which was propelled by unpredictable speed of the wind.
The fire burnt about 2,587 square kilometres of the park, before it was successfully contained.
