Videos of an aircraft owned by Enugu Air, went viral after an excursion on the runway, in Benin, on Friday.
Peter Obi, of Nigeria’s Democratic Congress (NDC) has called for the relevant regulatory and investigative bodies such as particularly the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB), to conduct a thorough, transparent, and timely investigation into the root cause of the incident.
There were no casualties as a result of the accident.
Passengers who survived, could be seen thanking God for saving their lives.
“Let us allow the NSIB to do their findings before reaching any conclusions” said Obi.
