Several areas South of eThekwini, will have interrupted water supply, on Tuesday, 23 June from 8 am to 6 pm.
During this time, uMngeni-uThukela Water will isolate the South Coast Pipeline to begin repair work.
EThekwini Municipality said it plans to fill up reservoirs on Monday night to ensure water is available during peak demand periods prior to the shutdown, on Tuesday.
Affected areas are Almond, Winklespruit, Warner Beach, Illovo Glen, Lower Illovo, Illovo Beach, Karridene Protea Hotel, Panorama Park, Umgababa, Umnini, Area Africa, Mfume, KwaSoni, Mashiwase, Nkwali, Lovu Phase 1, Lovu Phase 3, Lovu Landfill, Inkwali, Ilfracombe, Magabheni, Ehlanzeni, Thoyane, Umkhomazi, Craigieburn, Amahlongwa, Amalundi, Crowder Farm, Chansthal, V-Section, Amahlongwa, Saiccor Village, Naidooville and Crowder Farm.
