Various areas have interrupted water supply, following heavy rains.
The residents of Ixopo, part of the Harry Gwala Municipality were notified of muddy water, after the rains.
The Municipality said it is investigating ways of resolving this matter.
Heavy rains led to a power outage at the Morgenzon Water Treatment Plant, in Mpumalanga.
As a result, water supply to Ward 14 (Bushbuckridge) is temporarily affected.
The Lekwa Municipality said it has reported the matter to Eskom and are awaiting the arrival of technicians to the area.
The Tshwane Municipality said the Bronkhorstspruit Water Treatment plant is temporarily off line due to deteriorating raw water quality, as a result of heavy rainfall.
Areas with no water as a result, are the town of Bronkhorstpruit, Ekandustria, Ekangala, Rethabiseng, Riamarpark, Zithobeni, Thembisile Hani Municipality.
The Tshwane Municipality also said another area with interrupted supply is Riamarpark and Zithobeni ext 1 and 4, due to a collapsed pipeline.
A 300mm AC supply pipeline from the Zithobeni East supply reservoir collapsed next to the Zithobeni taxi rank.
