The Scales Pangolin Rescue Fund announced news this week, that Paige, who was rescued from illegal smugglers, is now a mom.

Paige arrived at the Umoya Khulula Wildlife Centre, earlier this year, emaciated, dehydrated and with a horrific snare wire wound.

Her recovery was long and tough, but she was later released in the wild.

The team noticed a few weeks ago, through monitors, that she was producing milk.

Trail cameras were set, and last week confirmed Paige has a healthy pup.

The Fund thanked its various partners for this miracle, including Umoya Khulula Wildlife Centre, Provet Animal Hospital, Limpopo Pangolin Collective, and every supporter who helped turn Paige’s story into a miracle.
