Johannesburg Water (JW) confirmed water in Bezuidenhout Valley is now clear of contamination from Ecoli.
This follows high counts of high coliform revealed 5 days ago, by water test result.
Nombuso Shabalala, Spokesperson of JW, said the levels found in water, are common in soil.
She also said at the time, JW would chlorinate and retake samples.
“Our technical teams will continue to monitor the system and implement any necessary interventions.”
