The City of Tshwane announced it would install a new valve on the Ekandustria reservoir on Monday, the 03rd March 2025.
During this time, there will be a total shutdown of the Bronkhorstpruit Water Treatment Works.
This means no water in taps for at least seven (7) areas, from 8am until 5pm.
Areas affected are the town of Bronkhorstpruit, Ekandustria, Ekangala, Rethabiseng, Riamarpark, Zithobeni and Thembisile Hani Municipality.
The City said water tankers would be availed.
