The Kimberley Action Group has announced plans of a shutdown in protest action on the 14th July 2025.
Kagiso Makodi, of the Group and its Allied Stakeholders, said in a statement, the community refuses to watch the City crumble.
“We are appealing directly to all businesses and stakeholders to support this shutdown…A city that becomes unlivable, cannot sustain economic activity, let alone growth.”
Makodi also said services are deteriorating, governance is failing and accountability has disappeared.
