The South African Weather Service said (SAWS) said a cut-off low-pressure system is currently situated along the west coast of Namibia.
This is expected to enhance the likelihood of isolated showers and thundershowers over the northern and western parts of the Northern Cape.
But cloud cover is expected to continue, resulting in cool weather conditions over Mpumalanga, eastern Limpopo, and KwaZulu-Natal.
SAWS said it would continue to monitor the pressure system.
