David Maynier may soon be the Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment (DFFE), to replace Willie Aucamp.
This has come from Geordin Hill-Lewis, DA’s leader, who requested President Cyril Ramaphosa to make changes decided by the party.
John Steenhuisen is expected to move to the position of Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition.
He is expected to be replaced by Willie Aucamp.
Alexandra Abrahams is expected to assume a position as Deputy Minister of Electricity and Energy, while Yusuf Cassim becomes Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training.
The DA said their decision was informed by performance reviews.
