Damaging winds are expected to continue on Monday, into Tuesday evening, from Cape Point to Plettenberg Bay.
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) said these conditions (at Level 2), may result in localised runaway fires and damages to both formal and informal settlements.
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over Dr JS Moroka local municipality in Mpumalanga, Midvaal local municipality in Gauteng, south-western part of the North West, eastern part of the Western Cape, as well as in places over the Free State and Eastern Cape.
