Nompumelelo, Ducats, Nahoon Valley and Bishops Court, are some of the areas of the Buffalo City Municipality, with no water.
The Municipality said in a brief on Tuesday evening, that a water outage was caused by vandalism of the water main, which has drained the Homeleigh reservoir.
“We are now currently raising the ground reservoir level before we can start pumping to the tower and Ducats” the Municipality said.
Pumping of water to the main tower is expected to start on Wednesday.
