Strong winds moving at a rapid pace of between 50 – 60 kilometers an hour, are predicted over the South West Coast of the Western Cape today, according to WeatherSA.
The forecast area is from Table Bay to Cape Agulhas today.
Social media page (Severe Weather and Information Centre SA, SWAICSA), managed by Angelo Ricardo Hoorn, predicts another cut – off low pressure developing on the West of SA later today until Sunday.
This pressure system threatens to bring along heavy rains, hail, lightning and damaging winds.
The pressure is expected to move on Saturday towards the Eastern parts of Northern Cape, Western Free State and the North West as well as the Eastern parts of the Northern Cape.
